The Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (WBBA), in partnership with Burrill & Company, is proud to announce the 11th Annual Life Science Innovation Northwest Conference – an innovative approach to the region’s premier life sciences conference – on March 2-3, 2011.

Due to the continued success and growth of the conference, we’ve secured a new location – the Washington State Convention Center, Seattle. This move enables us to further grow and expand the region’s premier life sciences conference with more space for 1:1 investor and strategic partnership discussions, multiple alcoves for spontaneous, yet crucial meetings, additional room for creative exhibit space and a convenient location in Seattle’s downtown core.

Also this year, we are strategically positioning Life Science Innovation Northwest 2011 adjacent to BioPartnering North America™ in Vancouver, BC.  We hope many of you will be able to attend both conferences back to back all the while continuing to grow relationships made at both conferences.

Innovation has supercharged the Pacific Northwest’s biotech and medical device industries for decades.  And our life sciences companies, nonprofit research institutes and global health organizations are leading the way.  Life Science Innovation Northwest is a “must attend” life sciences conference that communicates the strength of the Northwest’s life science sector to state, national and global leaders.

We are pushing forward some of the most compelling breakthroughs of our time in high-tech, clean-tech and biotech – developing devices, vaccines, and therapies to combat the leading causes of death and that could change the course of health care for generations to come.

Life Science Innovation Northwest will highlight this unique and powerful characteristic which defines the Pacific Northwest’s life science sector.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Build on 2010’s substantial, accurate and consistent messaging platform around WBBA Brand identity and defining mission: to facilitate the translation of life science innovation to commercialization.
  • Develop a “must attend” life science program that features the strength of the Northwest’s life science sector to state, national and global leaders.
  • Expand collaboration with China and include a broadened reach into life sciences across Asia.

DATE: Wednesday, March 2 – Thursday, March 3, 2011
LOCATION: The Washington State Convention Center
